Janelle has had a rough year leading up to her introduction to the woods. As a sea jelly nymph, she spent her life floating through the waves with her family bloom. They aren’t exactly the best of swimmers, so when the current pushed them into a mass of garbage and plastic and wire in the middle of the ocean... it did not end well. Janelle was the only one who managed to escape, thanks to the help of a kindhearted harpy cleanup crew. It was too late for her family.
Devastated at her loss, Janelle attempted to join her family in the ever after ocean. After recovering in a maritime hospital, Janelle decided she needed a change of scenary and joined a nymph exchange program. Thanks to a few careful spells, Janelle came to the Candy Cap Woods, where she now lives with her host river nymph family. Slowly but surely, Janelle relearning how to be happy, and exploring what it means for her to keep living. She may have lost her family, but she’s starting to realize sshe isn’t alone.
